Lets do Lunch.

The Tribune and I had a long talk and she's still having some abandonment issues but I promised to show her more love and support and really put more effort into spending time with her. She's a needy Brod but you do what it takes to keep your woman happy.

Now... to the matters at hand.

Tonight slash this morning, since it's 12:08 am, I am supposed to be cleaning slash packing stuff to move to the new apartment... But I saw a bug and decided it better to stay in bed watching hulu.
I'm so glad that Jen caught all two of you guys up on whats been happening.
My plan on becoming cooler than anyone ever is panning out pretty nicely and wedding plans aren't two shabby either. Jen, that would not be me, has in fact given her two weeks notice and, I think, is very excited about the University of Colorado Denver's acceptance. She is also within moments of her next big wedding photo shoot. This will be number three in her "Weddings Ive taken pictures at this summer" category Marcus and mine being the fourth and being five in all... I think. There very well could be a sixth.
Anyway
Good luck Jen.
Also good luck to me in pulling this whole wedding thing off. I'll let you know how it goes.
I noticed the website Jen put up didn''t work lets try this instead.

I hope that we get on here more than years apart from now on.
Lets say good luck to you guys for that! Ha!

And then a YEAR passed?!

YEP. We're still alive. This wouldn't have been a Jen/Mel master-minded project if we hadn't abandoned it immediately following its creation, after all.
Moving on.
Mel is currently living in Arizona and 100% engaged to be married to Marcus C. Handy. She is a recently certified Montessori teacher and is working on being cooler than anyone, ever.
Jen (that would be me) is still, STILL working at Starbucks, BUT NOT FOR LONG. She has great plans to quit soon (notice is being given in three weeks, if you MUST know)to go back to school. She was recently accepted to the University of Colorado Denver, and will be studying...something that interests her. Ahem. She is so excited, she cant sit still. Making this post extremely difficult to write.

You know what you should check out? Mel's wedding website.

Jen doesn't have anything cool to offer, so check out her photo blog that is already listed on this page.

You have yourselves a nice day!

Be Gentle, It's Our First Time...

Hey there Family Members, this is Jen and Mel!

We have decided to put up a newspaper type blog reporting on the most important news around... ourselves. At first it was just another way for us to keep in touch when we move apart, (we had done this in written form the last time we were seperated... like church and state) and then we thought we would let you people in on all the excitement. So here goes.

We will have updates on what we are up to in our perspective cities and we will have photos and videos of all the shananigins we get in to. We will also have links to where you can find our artwork and things of importance to us. We also want to report on things happening in the family so if you have some news or an event we can cover, call or email us - we'd love to put it up. The purpose here is not to create an online family reunion, it will be more selfish than that, just a little comic relief from our new adventures apart.
Mel: "Do you want to add anything, or take anything away?"
Jen: "Mm. No. I hate math."
